New Chairman at Jenkins Shipping

Paul O'Hare, Chief Executive of Jenkins Shipping Group, has announced that Jesper Kjaedegaard has joined Jenkins Shipping as non-executive Chairman.

Jesper spent more than 30 years with the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, rising to Group Senior Vice President of the world's No 1 container shipping company, and is the former Chief Executive of Britain's largest shipowner, the Maersk Company UK Ltd.

At the age of 52, he is now a Partner at global logistics and infrastructure consultants, Mercator International, LLC.

Danish born Jesper Kjaedegaard was the first non-British President of the British Chamber of Shipping and has also held the Chairmanship of Maritime UK, an organisation representing all British maritime activities.
