We employ over 140 staff with a wide range of port related skills from driving sophisticated equipment such as container cranes and reach stackers through to paper clamps and fork lift machinery. We are specialists in the provision of skilled lashing teams for project cargoes and are an accredited ITSSAR training centre.

The competency of all our staff is assessed against the Ports Industry National Occupational Standards. We recruit both experienced and new people into the port sector using apprenticeship programmes and the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) system to encourage learning and skills.

As a member of the Ports Skills and Safety (PSS) organisation we operate to the highest levels of health and safety practice.
